I’m About to Go Over the Edge . . .

the next time someone confuses silicone and silicon. The latest culprit is Stacy McCain, whose latest post is about David Frum, David Brooks, web traffic, traffic whoring, whoring whoring, search engine pervs, and Carrie Prajean’s breasts, which apparently have “silicon” in them.

Silicon is hard, and used in computers. Silicone is soft, and used in topical applications, and to supplement boobies—by people who think that lugging extra boobage around sounds like a fun time.

I know less than I thought. Here I thought that all women carried the latter form, granting them their innate superiority. Ah, well: I probably don’t need to know this. Idiocy aside, thanks for the lesson, LMA.

I’m with you on this one.

Forty years of liberals running our educational system has produced idiots.

This is similar to their incompetence in using “Lose” and “Loose,” which drives me batty.

Its just that these thins should’nt be that dificult. Grammar is it’s own thing, and isn’t so hard. Stacy should of known the diffrence.
