My teenage sons reveled a bit about Hasan getting owned by a woman.
I wonder how many lives she saved.

Her partner was with her. I don’t know whether he (or she?) was as good a shot. But every second counted in a situation like that.
The Army isn’t always as nimble as I’d like it to be, but this should get its attention: that sick shrink shouldn’t have been there. And his comrades should have had more guns.

I like this idea. A lot. (It bugs me to no end that my CC is no good on base– means I have to either commit a felony, or drive some 300 miles, alone, through tons of fairly lonely landscape when my husband is active at his base and I go visit him. My flashlight is NOT very reassuring as a secondary weapon….)
