The fact that Hasan was kept on despite his sympathy for terrorists—which appears to have morphed into a willingness to terrorize others himself—is more than patronizing to peaceful Muslims.

And, yes: some Muslims have died defending this country and defending Western liberalism. Under those circumstances, how much more evil is it for some within the United States Army to say, essentially, “you all look alike to us”?
