In other news, my health insurance company just sent me a note regarding where I could go on their website to print out “proof of insurance.” The idea is maddening, and the more so because some people honestly think you can analogize health insurance with car insurance. Worse, they talk about how the nature of insurance is to spread risks among the population, without getting how circular their logic is when they do that. Maddening.
