Date February 8, 2010

He massages it a bit, of course: we know that some of the network brass at NBC approved that SuperBowl commercial, so I’m skeptical about them expressing concerns to Jay after the filming. But it makes for a better story this way.

Great moments in “comedy” history…2010 style!

But it’s a pop culture thing, and I actually saw it when it was happening. I was watching television when the promo aired–and I watched my husband’s reaction in real time!

For one 24-hour news cycle, I’m in the in crowd. I therefore deem this to be a Significant Event, in order to elevate my own importance.

    That isn’t patethic.

Also, the statement above wasn’t pathetic.

    Certainly, the last statement wasn’t pathetic . . .

Also, nothing in this comment is a pipe.

    My version–
Same as before, but video ends with floor collapsing.

Next year’s commercial–Conan on a ladder cutting ceiling with a Sawzall.
