Has Jim Treacher Converted to Islam?

That’s parody, right? Right?
Of course it’s a fucking parody: in real life, the State Department agent who hit him hasn’t even apologized, and didn’t even identify himself as the driver at the scene of the accident. And Treacher was given a jaywalking ticket at the hospital while lying there in pain, undergoing treatment for an injury he may never shake for the rest of his life (this being a knee injury, and the knee being a notorious stress point for human locomotion).
Jim, aka Sean Medlock, has an update on his status here. He links the State Department website, which contains a link to their general email account; I’ve asked State what kind of progress they’ve made on issuing Mr. Medlock his apology.
