Is the American Right Wing

by Little Miss Attila on June 16, 2010

. . . turning into a bunch of 14-year-old girls? I dunno. I think Mitch Daniels is dreamy, but on the other hand Chris Christie is a total fox!

Can’t we just get through this year, and then regroup? Right now, the task is to replace spendy legislators with less-spendy ones who know where jobs really come from.

This premature search for a new leader of the executive branch has me worried. We aren’t there yet, and it seems really unhealthy to be seeking out a Moses.

This ain’t The Book of Exodus, and Moses ain’t gonna show up until we chart our own course out of the wildnerness.

Man up, folks. Or woman up. Whatever.

UPDATE: What am I going to do with you people?

You know, I agree with you. I’m not saying I don’t cover potential 2012ers at my blog. I’ve written about why I’m not okay with Romney, why I disagree with Daniels’ social issues “truce,” etc. I also don’t think it’s a secret to anyone who reads my blog that I’m a big fan of Sarah Palin.

But I’m not ready to say she’s my candidate for 2012, in part because I don’t even know if she’ll run yet — but also because we don’t even know who all of the candidates will be. Everybody is already all geared up assuming that the slate of candidates will be Palin, Romney, Huckabee, Daniels, and maybe Ron Paul. I think it’s very possible that some of these folks (i.e., Huckabee and Daniels) won’t even actually run, and I think it’s very likely that people no one is even talking about will run.

Everybody needs to calm down and focus on this November. I’m not saying don’t cover anything about any potential 2012er, but it’s too soon to be picking a horse in this race.
