You Want To Read Something Really Scary?

by Little Miss Attila on October 30, 2010

Here you go.

Those physicians and hospitals that choose to practice individualized patient care in consultation with their patients will be punished because they are not “meaningful users of the system over time.” Beginning January 1, 2013 penalties for doing the right thing for a patient will cost the doctor $100,000 for the first offense and jail for the second offense. This will have a chilling effect and may be the straw that completely breaks the foundation of good medicine – the doctor patient relationship.

46% of physiciansin a survey by The New England Journal of Medicine stated that they would leave the practice of medicine if Obamacare was implemented. This will only further decrease the quality of healthcare when the 30 million more people enter the system.

What’s the scary part?

That this third hand “survey” data originally gathered by email (yes, email /eyeroll) by a temp agency was disowned by the New England Journal of Medicine as laughably non-scientific almost a year ago but it is still being repeated by bloggers too lazy to conduct even the most cursory of fact checking before they regurgitate it?

Or is it the fact that there’s an American doctor with such low intelligence and morals she’d knowingly misuse this bogus data then stoop to publishing her “work” at one of Breitbart’s hate sites?

Says the ponce that quoted from The Lancetstudy of civilian deaths in Iraq like it was the Word of God.
A “study” predicated on answers received from “informal” questions to a laughably small sample of people living in towns–“Is there anyone NOT here that used to live here before the war ?” Surely if they don’t live there anymore they MUST be dead. I can’t possibly think of more than a dozen other reasons in the first second alone. . .

Go wipe that hole in the ground, ponce. You just took another shit. $100,000 fines can’t possibly affect the quality of health care or sway doctors to quit? You own that position now.

Durrel,

Your spittle-caked rants always make me happy.

As always, try not to be so afraid.

Even though this disappointingly low brow LMA post claims that almost 50% of GP Docs would quit if Obamacare passed…I am unaware of a single one who actually quit when it did pass.

Perhaps we should chalk up this dodged bullet to the poor job market?

What are the phase-in dates for Obamacare, you lying’ sack of shit? Do you expect people to quit before they have to?
I guess you do. Being unable to reproduce my name displays your talent for truth and accuracy. Every time.

To the rest of the readers–

Happy Halloween!
On May 13, 610, Pope Boniface IV created All Saints Day. The HolyDay was moved to November 1st in 834. All Saints Day (All Hallows) led to what we know as Halloween–All Hallows’ Eve.

The Celtic festival of Samhain (Sa-WIN)–an end-of-harvest festival, was already around.
All the death with plant life and such necessitated that the veil separating this world from the afterlife to become thin to allow passage. Unfortunately, this proved to be a two-way street. The Celts believed that wearing mask and costumes would confuse–or even placate–returning spirits especially the evil variety. Surely, they would ignore those that looked like them and attack those that weren’t participating–they reasoned.
Today we have Socialists to scare them back to Hell. The few not fazed see all the roles they might have assumed occupied by Democrats and return to Hell anyway.

“What are the phase-in dates for Obamacare, you lying’ sack of shit? ”

Dareel,

This is a lie:
“46% of physiciansin a survey by The New England Journal of Medicine stated that they would leave the practice of medicine if Obamacare was implemented.”

The New England Journal of Medicine had nothing to do with this Mickey Mouse propaganda.

I expect lies like this from Breitbart…not from LMA.

Pointing out that Obamacare did indeed pass and 46% of GP doctors have not quit as predicted by the phony wingnut “survey” is not a lie…it’s mockery.

Shame on anyone involved in this.

Of course not. The New England Journal of Medicine is too busy with phony
bisphenol A (BPA) studies and gun-control pap, and promoting global warming nonsense.

The report appeared in Recruiting Physicians Today, an employment newsletter produced by Massachusetts Medical Society, the publishers of the New England Journal of Medicine.Clear enough. but we do have this. http://healthpolicyandreform.nejm.org/?p=12845&query=TOC

Hey, ponce? What are you doing commenting here? There are 3000 blank absentee ballots in your trunk
that need filling out! You think they’re gonna do it themselves? Get busy.
You got an election to steal. The SEIU can’t do it all by rigging voting machines, you know.

All my Pakistani Doctor friends were gonna leave not because of Obama care but because of fear mongering of the right. No Obama care is not so scarry, its the hatred that is being spewed by the likes of Sean, Glenbeck, Rush, O’Rielly, Micheal Medved, Micheal Savage, Jaun and Levine et alia, that is sending Indian and Pakistani and Sikh doctors away from the US. Can one seriously entertain the idea that a physician will withdraw his or her contribution to society because of a preception that they will make a few shekels less?
By electing Obama, the citizens of United States Overwhelmingly voted against the politics of hate and fear. I am glad to live in a country where propaganda does not always win out and lies and bigotry have a price. There are always some small minded people who buy into the propaganda. Don’t want to embarrass the guilty, but there are some on this board.

If what you say is true, then most of them have already left. Is that, or is that not, the case?

And also Indian, Asian, Chinese, Japanese doctors – if what you say about “the hatred that is being spewed by ….” is true.

So then – are they?

Nice confession, dude! You bought the whole load and drank it.
That “L” on your forehead also stands for “Left.”
Ask a kid what else it stands for.
