T-Paw!
Ramesh Ponnuru and Rich Lowry have some thoughts.
UPDATE: A double-link from Insty!
I’ll have more to say about this later on, but there is a huge distinction to be made between “I screwed up on cap and trade; I was scammed by the climate alarmists” versus “there’s nothing wrong with the ‘RomneyCare’ plan, even though it served as a model for the Affordable Care Act, which will help to bankrupt the country.”
One of those implies a course-correction, and the other does not.
And, as happy as I would be to vote for Herman Cain, I would really prefer someone who has actually run a state, and can take charge of an entrenched government bureaucreacy without getting run over by the ‘lifers.’ There is no analogy to that in the private sector, and it needs to be done.

Please tell me it’s possible to take a picture of this man where he DOESN’T look like Gomer Pyle…
Banacek, what a great show.
Ponce, you are in agreement here not just with me, but with Darrell. Mark this day on your calendar–and pray, let us never speak of it again.
Agreed.
Didya hear the F-35 is in danger of being axed?
The whole 2500 plane order.
So, they’re going to restore the F-22 order?
Remember, the F-22 order was reduced with the promise that the F-35 would pick up the difference.
That promise, like all Obama promises, had an expiration date. Five minutes after it was spoken.
ponce agreeing with LMA?
Is this the “Teutonic shift” that Obama was talking about?
Banicek, like T-Paw, is okay when nothing better is on. But let’s face it, Banicek is A-Team with less excitement and less comedy. And T-Paw has less excitement than Palin and less comedy than “The Rent Is Too Da** High” guy.
Just sayin’.
and the asterisks are for my benefit, not anyone else’s
He’s the only candidate I can support. God bless him, if for nothing else, for speaking the truth about ethanol in Iowa.
Yeah he spoke the truth now, but he mandated its use then. Which is the T-Paw we’ll get?
