Not only should non-leftists engage with it, they just need to be subversive.

Look at the Pixar movies … bright, engaging, innovative, great plots, engaging characters and chock-full of conservative principles.

You can have a lot of fun telling people what a great conservative story “Wicked!” is…

But honestly, I’m not sure there is a popular culture anymore. Certainly not one with any historical continuity. It’s more like a frenzied leap from one hot ad slogan to the next (But I’m never giving up Flo, y’hear, even if Progressive is a buncha hippies…)
