Robert Hymers’ Arrest Along with Lenny Dykstra Might Have Been Part of a Sting

by Little Miss Attila on June 11, 2011

Just a hint from the New York Daily News . . .

He earlier told the Daily News he would fight the charges, calling them a “joke.”

“Of course I’m not guilty,” Dykstra said Monday.

Dykstra allegedly had the drugs on him when he was arrested April 14 following a sting that also targeted accountant Robert Hymers, 27, and friend Christopher Gavanis, 30.

The men allegedly tried to lease various high-end automobiles from several dealerships last January using fraudulent information and claiming credit through a “phony” mortgage modification business, Home Free Systems, prosecutors said.

“We leased cars. This isn’t some grand scheme to defraud anyone of Ford Flexes,” Dykstra scoffed.

You’ll recall that the reason Robert Leslie Hymers’ bail was set so high is that he also victimized an accounting client of his, by having this innocent bystander sign papers that made him appear to be an officer in Dykstra’s phony company–hence, the judge felt that he had violated his fiduciary duty to the client, and set bail at the same level as that of Dykstra himself.

An awful business all around.

Are you sure you have all the facts here? Really?

I’m sure that I don’t. Hence the construction “might have been.” Most of what I know I’ve seen in newspaper accounts, on the indictment itself, or in the footage of the judge setting bail.

Why your grudge against the Hymers?

Isn’t it just a grudge against Christ and his word?

No–more like a grudge against rage-aholics and compulsive liars. But thank you for playing.

Dale, have a Jeff’s Amazing New York Egg Cream Chocolate Soda, or something.
Settle down. Enjoy Father’s Day while you can.
It’s also Trinity Sunday for some folks.
So keep it down, if you can. Breath.

Still tilting at windmills I see. Why must you run the good name of the Hymers through the mud?

If violent, abusive behavior and serial lying generate a “good name” in your circles, then you are free to associate and do business with the liars, abusers, and thieves of your choosing, Sir.

Dale, the Hymers need to first actually, you know, have a good name before it can be run through the mud. Hymers, Jr is an abusive cult leader. Hymers, III tried using intimidation and federal intimidation to shut people up about his dad, the abusive cult leader. They don’t have a good name. They’re abusive intimidators, scuzzballs.

What John said.

But with more sailor sprinkles.

The name has already been tarnished. Perhaps dragging it thru the mud will help rejuvinate it?

Bob the third is completely innocent. Isn’t your ultimate problem that you are not right with Christ?

Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.

Robert Hymers, III is guilty of intimidation and attempting to get the Federal Government to intimidate LMA. And quite frankly, Dale, I’m not nearly as charitable as Foxfier. As the Trunchbull would say, Dale, you are a festering pustule.

As a casual observer and in no way affiliated with FBT or the Hymer family I really see an axe grinding at this Pillar of the southern California community and his family. This man has tireless preached Christ and his word for decades. Bob the third has followed in this tradition in a lay capacity. Can’t you give it a rest after all these years? Really don’t you have better uses of your time. Thank you.

So casual and unaffiliated that you willfully disregard history, evidence and reason to harp– for weeks on end– on how horrible LMA is; fact free assertions aimed pretty clearly at causing her pain.

This man has tireless preached Christ and his word for decades. Bob the third has followed in this tradition in a lay capacity.

That’s rather mendacious, even for trolls around here.

Pretty sure there’s a special level of hell for those who do evil and claim it is good.

Check that; not weeks, half a decade.

Good sleuthing, foxy momma. Chris Cagen sure does have some sort of obsession, don’t he?

It has to be remembered that, just as some interpretations of the Koran suggest that it’s okay to lie to infidels as long as you are furthering the cause of Islam, the Hymerites feel that it’s okay to lie to anyone–Christian or not–as long as it promotes “soul-winning,” which to them means Hymerism. Hymers does well by “doing good.” That is, lying.

I do like how “Dale” (Chris Cagen, most likely) is not a friend of the family or a member of the FBT church, and yet is able to tell us that an accountant at Ernst & Young has “followed in this tradition [of preaching the gospel] in a lay capacity.” You cannot have it both ways, wherein you aren’t connected to these people, and yet know intimate details of their lives.

And the fact is, I’m not going to dump on H3, because I’ve always felt sorry for him–and I’m actually more angry at Dykstra these days for trying to claim that H3 was the “mastermind.” That’s patent nonsense, just like what you’re peddling. This young man was probably starstruck, and was manipulated by the celebrity just as he had been manipulated by his faux-preacher father. Both used him shamelessly.

At the same time, to say that getting indicted on grand theft auto is a good witness for Christ is . . . well, it’s highly innovative. Original.

Little Miss Attilla,

Calling my integrity into question is a tactic of the left. Please refrain from personally attacking me. I stated once that I have never met Dr. R.L.Hymers Jr. nor did I ever attend his church. Not even one time period. The last statement of the word period was for emphasis. Why you tireless attack this good family is a question I cannot answer. I appreciate this churches mission to preach the Gospel in downtown Los Angeles and on the campus of UCLA .They bring young souls to a saving faith in Christ and his blood. Why you don’t appreciate that is beyond me. In conclusion, I for one do not appreciate being accused of making false assertions. Please refrain from such activity.
Thank You.

Dear “Dale Drew,”

Thank you for your most recent lie-filled comment. It, along with your many other lie-filled comments will be given their due consideration. Oh look! A bunny!

It’s “personally” attacking you to suggest that there is a contradiction between your claims of not knowing the Hymerses vs. your apparent emotional investment in defending them, and your knowledge of intimate details of their lives? Okey-doke.

Here, by the way, is an example of the Hymers family “preaching the gospel” to the youth at UCLA.

Millstones. Learn it, live it.

So that is the level of dialogue he would like to engage in. Make a note of that.
