Is he willing to follow through on his convictions—whatever those may be—in any arena whatsoever?
I mean, I’ve turned the heat up to 70 degrees a handful of times this winter, but no one wrote about it in gushing tones—and I still keep a hat, scarf, jacket, and throw rug by my computer chair, ready to put on at any time.

I’m just wondering if there is any area of life in which Barack Obama is ready to set an example for the American people.
Hell: I think I’d be happy if he let a day go by without a press conference, or gave a cabinet post to someone who wasn’t a tax cheat or a lobbyist. (Okay: I am starting to exaggerate. But not by much.)
