Most Gaffe-Tastic President Evah

“Taunted by Special Olympians.”

Some of the Special Olympians who would beat Obama handily.

I used to worry that Obama would have some sort of health-care concern—say, a minor heart incident—that might leave Joe Biden in charge for multiple weeks and months. I thought this would be embarrassing, but it looks like our VP would be less of an embarrassment than our actual Commander-in-Chief has turned out to be. I knew that taxes would go up; I did not realize that Obama is as tongue-tied as he is, or that he would branch out from offending people in Sioux Falls to alienating America’s staunchest allies abroad.

Ed has now started an “Obamauerisms of the Day” feature at Hot Air.

And then there is Vanity Fair‘s Michael Wolff:

You can see the fundamental mistake he’s making. Having been so successfully elected, he’s acting like people actually want to hear what he thinks. He’s the great earnest bore at the dinner party. Instead of singing for his supper, he’s just talking—and going on at length. The real job of making people part of the story you’re telling, of having them hang on your every word, of getting the tone and detail right, the hard job of holding a conversation, he ain’t doing.

The Wolff quote is via Insty, who has a mini-roundup on how gaffe-tastic Obama is, and remarks that “some of us noticed these issues before the election. For the rest, there’s buyer’s remorse.” (Perhaps that brings us, full-circle, back to Althouse, where we started.)

A Note to the 2012 Republican Nominee: Insist on Absolutely No Teleprompters during the debate!

Gerard at American Digest has started a daily “Obamanation of the Day” as well.

So much material, so little time.

Yeah; I saw that. Which means that gaffe-spotters should forward their tips to BOTH Ed and Gerard, so we can maximize the entertainment value by getting both of these talented gentlemen’s takes on each.
