It’s a heartwarming story, actually: she’s only halfway, or perhaps even two-thirds of the way, to her final “look,” but the procedure does allow her to go out in public. And she can breathe and smell things! That rawks.
God bless the donor’s family for agreeing to this, and God bless the doctors. Pray that the nerve endings continue to “take,” and that her team is able to refine the work a little bit.
And God bless this spirited young woman for speaking out on behalf of people with disabilities.
