A postulate, in the form of a speculation:
Doesn’t seem like poking at the people who inhabit AoS is a really bright idea.
Aw; they’re pussycats.
Pussycats with plenty of firepower, explosives know-how, martials-arts training, and legal chops.
But pussycats, nonetheless.
I just hope that if I ever have a big paranoid meltdown, I don’t do it too publicly, a la certain jazz musicians, and that I don’t take anyone with me.
My only real question is whether a “rogue lizard” is really a lizard. Perhaps those folks should be referred to as horny toads, or geckos.
Geckos are pretty, although, as someone who dated a girl who kept three of ’em around the house to eat cockroaches, I was always afraid I’d step on one in the middle of the night; I picked my way very carefully indeed whenever I got up to pee.
And then there is the fact that they give out a few calls in that human-sounding “voice” quite early in the day, so they may not be the best house pets for nocturnal people.
And, no: do not call the renegades at Little Green Footballs II “cats,” as that will imply a predator/prey relationship that will only escalate the matter. Though it does seem rather easy to get the Original Lizards to lose their tails . . .
I have the feeling this would be even funnier if I’d been following the Lizard Chronicles a bit more closely, but alas and alack—I have a life.
(h/t to William Teach, who made me realize that this had jumped beyond the confines of the moronosphere / CJ’s shock troops / Geckoland, the “Blogmocracy.”)

Thanks for the linky luv!
I’ve been watching this for a while, back when it was CF against Atlas Shrugs and the others, and it has been getting worse and worse. I got banned at LGF for a simple comment last week.
Hm. I’m not sure I want to follow it. I think I’ll handle it just like I did when Andrew Sullivan went back to the left (without admitting it): I just don’t go to his site. Ditto the original LGF; it’s not like we don’t have anywhere to go for content on the innertubes . . .
Quite true. I kinda caught John Hawkins’ passion for watching what the wacko’s were doing. They provide endless amusement. Kinda like watching a political version of a Hollywood trainwreck 🙂
This is funny too:
