The link is to Totten’s summary of the situation in Iran. I’ve been a little afraid to post about it, because I don’t want to get my hopes up again, and I can’t even begin to contemplate the ethical deficits of the President in not standing up for democracy in even a milquetoasty sort of fashion.

The Totten link is via Red State is also updating about the situation in Iran on a fairly regular basis, and Tehran Live is indispensable, and has the mark of a good site in a badly run state: it is banned in Iran itself.

And Andrew Sullivan is taking time out from attacking Karl Rove and the Palin family in the most ridiculous terms to do a little real blogging of the sort that made me a reader of his in 2002-2003—before he went out of his tiny little mind. Just skip anything that touches on American politics or requires logic.
