I think my spouse would eat this, if I substituted unsalted margarine for the butter. (Our junk-food tastes are, unfortunately—or, perhaps, fortunately—nearly disjoint.) Also, due to a problem with OCD, I might go get some “no salmonella” egg whites from the local healthfood store. I understand about how the heat of the pasta cooks the raw egg, but . . . I’m not sure I buy it.
