I haven’t dated an Argentine since college, but I have the following advice for Stacy’s daughter:
• If you go to Argentina, eat beef. Consider buying a leather jacket. Take lots of pictures.
• Study Spanish with an Argentinian accent—because it’s better when they can’t talk over your head, and because Spanish with that accent is particularly elegant, even when you don’t know what they are saying. (I should imagine that was just as well, in my particular case.)
• Eat lots of white cake with that marvelous cooked/condensed milk frosting. (If you’re smart, you’ll try to find some for your wedding reception.)
• Enjoy.

Heh. Kennedy spent a year (2007-08) in Argentina in a full-immersion Spanish-language curriculum. And yeah, Argentines eat beef like nobody else on earth. Beef, beef, beef, all the time.
