Why, Grandma . . .

What big, circular balls of “logic” you have . . .

Isn’t it cute when they try to use their widdow itty-bitty, masculine, extremist SoCon cerebral cortices, but no one ever really taught them how? I’ve never seen anything that adorable in my whole life!

It’s a widdow blogger-dude! Awwwwww! Get him some kibble and hit his widdow tip jar, while mommy gets ready to build a conservative movement.

UPDATE, Tuesday 5/10: Previous, and possibly relevant:

The Extremist SoCons Weigh In
Domesticity Was Such a Blast Before the Feminists Ruined It!

Come on: to say that women were invariably put on a pedestal before feminism came along defies common sense. If that hadn’t been the case we wouldn’t have had to fight so hard for property rights, the vote, and protections from domestic violence (which Prohibition was, in part, a ham-fisted attempt to address).

I’m a feminist, which means I believe the family is paramount, and should have as many resources at its command as possible–along with the flexibility to react to circumstances. And I’m a conservative, which means I’m skeptical about institutional childcare (other than nursery school, which I believe in), and that I do not believe the tax code should penalize married people, or force the woman into the workplace (where she will be overtaxed) just to pay the taxes on the man’s income–or vice versa, for stay-at-home dads. Because as a conservative feminist, I believe that occasionally it makes more sense for the woman to be the primary breadwinner, and for the man to take care of the household and children.

Because being a conservative is supposed to mean, above all, that one advocates for the individual, rather than enforcing “one size fits all” solutions.

What happened to that?

This isn’t quite on topic, but I’d like to say that your refusal to compromise and genuine friendship with Mr. McCain is rather inspiring. It’s good to see people trying to get ideas through their opponents thick skulls rather than shunning them.

Indeed,

Seeing LMA and the bumpkin skipping hand in hand through a field of straw men, using their towering intellects to build them up, then knock them down, is truly heartwarming.
