Welcome to the New Little Miss Attila

by Little Miss Attila on November 21, 2008

My webmistress has advised me that I should post here, rather than using the good old-fashioned system in which I post to the old site, and then she moves them over here, file by file.

Selfish; that’s what people are these days . . . .

But it hurted; I had to make a whole new bookmark. And enter a new name. And stuff.

(Friday night w(h)ine.)

But onward!

It looks really good.

And I can’t say enough about pearls. 😉

I like it. For one thing, I don’t have to move the bottom slider over to read Day By Day. Although I suspect that’s not the reason you did the redesign.

Doesn’t everyone come here to read Day by Day?

Actually, that was the reason I consented (gladly) to the double-sidebar format; I like the old one-on-each side format, but when I found out I could have a double-sidebar in which the two halves meet up to form a double column at the top, I figured that would be a nice option.

Then I saw how it may DBD look, and I was sold on it; I truly despised having to scroll in order to see the entire frame–sometimes just to read the dialogue. This is much, much nicer.

I miss the old girl but the new one works. She kind of grow on you after you get over the shock. I hate change. The more I look at the new site the more I like it I guess.

Also: pearls rawk! You can never have too many: spherical pearls, freshwater pearls (both the rounded type and the more outrageous “Rice Krispy” shapes), “black” pearls (which of course range from steel-gray to abalone-like), and my latest passion—copper-colored pearls from the South Seas.

Someday I’ll get a pair of mabe pearl earrings, though they would have to be tiny ones: I cannot wear jewelry that is too large, ’cause it tends to overwhelm my frame.

Ok, it had to happen after I had my evening margarita.
