[Note: I voted against Proposition 8, and therefore for gay marriage. But given the bigotry against blacks, Latinos, and people of faith that has been unleashed among the militant LGBTs since the measure went down in flames, I’m starting to feel a bit embarrassed to have supported it. And that’s not even getting into the fact that my actions were a backhanded encouragement of judicial activism.
A person could be forgiven for seeing the average Gay Marriage Radical as akin to the Panthers, lo those decades ago: unhelpful. Like, “are you really working for the opposition?” unhelpful. Like “how much is Ralph Reed paying you guys?” unhelpful.]

Are you kidding? Yeah: I know you are. But Baldi’s a good friend; loyal as they come.
Next time I see her and Darleen, we’ll have a damned good laugh at the beautifully named Charles Blow, whose racist, sexist, anti-Christian writing in the NYT deserved the spanking Darleen gave it over at Protein Wisdom—and more.
And I do not care that Blow is black: racism is racism, and sexism sure as heck is sexism, and anti-religious bigotry started this country—in opposition thereto.
