Small Earthquake in the L.A. Area.

It was of the “rolling” type. I actually stuck my feet out from the lap blanket, in case I might need to actually arise from the recliner, but it was over with in about five seconds—and it never got into high gear.

Afterward, I looked at my husband. “Nine-point-five?” I asked.

“It was a small one,” he responded.

“Diminutive, but noticeable,” I replied.

Hope it wasn’t a bad one elsewhere, though.

I see. It was a medium-small one, but the epicenter was a few counties away.
