Stacy McCain, on CPAC Parties . . .

by Little Miss Attila on January 10, 2009

CPAC ought to be a blast this year. None of this “ooh, let’s be respectable so we don’t embarass the movement” stuff. No, this year will be a truly decadent bacchanalia of historic proportions.

So, last year—when we got ourselves kicked out of that suite at the Omni Shoreham—was your idea of . . . restraint?

Suddenly, I have a feeling I’m not often vulnerable to: I’m not sure I can keep up.

Aw, LMA, as we say down home, it ain’t a party ’til the cops show up.

This is one reason that, for truly festive occasions, Southerners prefer to party outdoors — by the lake, on Bourbon Street, in the infield at Talladega.

Speaking of the infield at Talladega, what was this story Matthew Vadum told me about your contribution to the festivities at a private soiree last year?

There was no private siorée. And if Matt keeps talking about it, I will release some of the footage therefrom . . .
