A Girl and Her Dog . . .

Darrell places me in the Buffyverse, with my beloved Mandy:

I do have a cross about that size. But I usually just let it fall into my shirt. It’s reassuring to feel it between my boobs.

I understand, however, that for active vampire huntin’ one’s cross ought to be on display.

Younger readers might see the Marilyn Manson connection and art. Or the “Mystery Machine” from Scooby-Doo reference. Josh Whedon might have to explain the Buffyverse connection, though, when he gets done explaining “Dollhouse.” Besides the stake. I am only responsible for the LMA/Mandy adjustments–boobically and coloration, respectively. Technical accuracy is important.

Me? I don’t stray from Shirley Manson. T-1001 all-the-way, baby!

I just assumed it was from the comic book, and that the entire image was a further play on the “Scooby Gang” idea from the Buffy series.

And, yeah: I got the Marilyn Manson/Scooby-Do bus legend, and assumed that the girl had been enhanced in at least the chest region.

I wouldn’t even want to count the Scooby references in that image-not only did I watch the original as a kid, but some of my husband’s friends have written some modern-day “Scoobies.”

I think I own all this clothing, except for the knee socks and the Doc Martens (though I have hiking boots, natch).
