Here’s a picture that David Coons took in the spring of 2001 (or was it 2002?) of Caroline Pfouts, Sandra Tsing Loh, and me.

It was a distinctive day, because David wasn’t wearing shoes. He was, however, sporting clothes. That makes a difference at some events.

Yeah, that was kind of a slutty blouse, but it’s always so hot at that book fair. And since the only pants that were clean that day were overwarm, I had to wear a tank top.

All I see when I look at that pic is my awful hair, and my icky teeth–Sandra’s are so much nicer.

I mean, you people were judging the heck out of my hair, werncha?
