Real Pajamas Bloggers Blog in their Pajamas.

They don’t put on real clothes and show up in the Bloggers’ Lounge before noon.

So if you’re looking for me, you’re looking in the wrong place: I’m at the hotel, with its faster WiFi and fewer distractions and artificial powdered creamer in the coffee. Come over here—and bring some damned half and half, while you’re at it.

(Yeah, I’m being flip. I will show up in the lounge today at some point, and log in, rather than chatting. Promise. And I intend to show my face at one of the parties tonight, at least. Probably the RedState Happy Hour.)

In the meantime, all you CPAC-baggers:TODAY at 11:00 a.m., in room 8212 (part of the “8000 Rooms” for the co-sponsors–past the PJTV setup, past the fake library, through the doorway and past the escalators, and off through that little side passage to the smaller workshops, where the real action is) is the panel on “What Happened at the NEA?”

This is an important panel, because it demonstrates how creativity is nurtured on the left, and how our natural libertarian reluctance to tap into public money to fund artistic projects hurts a lot of our endeavors. We on the right are on the horns of a genuine philosophical dilemma, here. One hopes that Kevin McKeever and Larry O’Connor can help.

[Disclosure: The panel is a Bank of Kev production, and Bank of Kev flew me out here for CPAC.]
