How about clearing out the deadwood at MMS? How about acknowledging that the Feds are responsible for what happens in Federal waters? How about insisting that safety innovations keep up with drilling technology? How about listening when other Federal agencies criticize MMS/Interior? How about encouraging safer methods for domestic production of oil and natural gas, so that companies aren’t forced to resort to the more costly, riskier deep-water techniques to this degree? How about extracting oil and natural gas in less environmentally sensitive and economically vulnerable areas?
How about that?
