More Legal-ish Threats Against Bloggers

by Little Miss Attila on June 11, 2010

As Insty likes to point out, it’s “seldom” a hot idea to do this.

(Of course, if one does not comply with their threats to remove critical posts, they may quote your posts out of context, extracting the swear words and any biographical data they consider to be unflattering, as the Roberts Hymers did with me. Or they may keep their ears to the ground for any signs of social activity, and tell the FBI that there was a potluck somewhere in the Valley, thrown specifically to plan assaults on their persons.

Here’s a datum for you, apropos of R.L. Hymers’ own potty mouth: in the late 1970s, at the Eagle Rock christian house/house church one Sunday or Monday night, Hymers once went off on one of his Elders, the late Geoff Tachet, exclaiming at the top of his lungs about the gay-oriented, L.A.-based Metropolitan Community Church: “how can you ask that? How could they be saved, when they are sucking each other’s cocks?” The sister, Alicia S., who had given me a ride to church looked at me, quite shocked, as we approached the front step of the house, and I returned her gaze, wide-eyed. This is the guy whose son criticizes my cussin’ on this blog.)
