Many of them take the weekend, off, which—fair enough. They have salaries. But it would make more sense if they took Fridays and Saturdays off, and cranked out a column or two on Sunday nights. Or, at the very least, if they got up early on Monday mornings and threw up a post then. When I get up on a Monday morning and some of the Legacy Media blogs haven’t been updated—even those on the East Coast—then I feel that these people may be slacking off a bit.
Either that, or it kind of bothers me that they have reliable incomes, and I don’t. Though that’s fixable/temprary. But certainly within the realm of human nature.

I have to agree with you on that to an extent…but everybody needs a day off or two…for them it’s just on the weekend.
