The husband and I went out to see Toy Story 3 in 3D yesterday; it was pure awesomeness. When neither of us can find plot holes or argue with the way any of the characters are written, it’s so right that it’s wrong. Though I didn’t see either of the the first two movies. (I know, I know: bad computer graphics groupie. Bad!)
I wanted to watch the thing all over again as we were coming home from the theater. I managed not to tell the husband to turn the Jeep back around, but just barely.
I’m still not-blogging, working on a few RL projects. I should be on-duty again by tomorrow night.

I saw Toy Story 3 on opening day. Pixar is the only studio that I have paid money to see for years.
I’m as big a CGI groupie, too; search for leophidus at YouTube to see some of my (not nearly as good) stuff.
Saw it a few weeks ago and loved it. CGI and all were awesome but it was the story line that got me – in a good way.
So I find it very interesting that when I asked a group of typical LA people (i.c. liberals) they were very ‘meh’ about it.
the chasm is growing between us, when Avatar is the best movie ever to them (Pocahontas with dancing with wolves), and a quiet story of human relationship and growing up, as seen through the eyes of toys – is just plain boring.
I realize that I am living on a different planet.
I could barely stay awake through Avatar. I’ll be sure to check out Toy Story, though, thanks!
