The Owl looked up to the stars above,
And sang to a small guitar,
‘O lovely Pussy! O Pussy my love,
What a beautiful Pussy you are,
You are,
You are!
What a beautiful Pussy you are!’
—Edward Lear
You know what they say, Jimmy: Real men enable comments.
Darleen has more at Protein Wisdom, where the comments are pretty good, and include this point via Pablo:
Only black people loot? I did not know that.
That racist site that LMA linked to needs to learn how to do racism more better:
Green hoped the U.S. government would dispatch self-absorbed, unruly Americans to Japan. “They could teach those Japanese to loosen up a little.” Green thought Charlie Sheen would be a good choice as well as a large portion of the Wisconsin Teacher’s Union.
Stacy McCain also weighs in, and concludes:
Note to Graydon Carter: Play him or trade him. Either put Wolcott on the next plane to Benghazi — send him where the action is, to do some honest-to-God journalism — or else cut him loose. To keep him there in Manhattan, festering like an infected boil, is ruining the man
“Is ruining”? That may be charitable.
I’m still wondering about the mental process that transmutes a compliment to a predominantly Asian country, by a known American exceptionalist, into a coded anti-black message.
(Wolcott’s original volley from yesterday morning. My response.)
UPDATE: Carol suggests that the left simply provide us with a list of things we may say that are not racism.

I would be willing to bet real folding money that between you PW and Stacy, you’ve just about quintupled Wolcott the Hut’s traffic.
The misunderstood certified non-racistswould make their point more strongly if they responded to Wolcott in a non predictable manner.
How can one respond to “Wolly’s” articles when he doesn’t have the stones to allow comments.
It is remarkable how little traffic one receives from being denounced by Wolcott. I thought it indicated either a great faith on the part of Wolcott’s readers that they never had to look into anything for themselves after receiving one of the great man’s pronouncements, or an astonishing lack of intellectual curiosity on the part of Leftists. For all that the Right is dominated by Christians, they are doubting Thomases almost every one, and must see everything for themselves. So sayeth my Sitemeter.
I’m tellin’ ya Cynthia, the real secret of Wolcott’s traffic is: “Deep down, it’s shallow.” Works for him as well.
