A lot of the people celebrating this victory would have impeached Bush for doing the same thing; some of them didn’t even want us to collect some of the intel that helped us accomplish this.
But Obama took the risk to give the order, and he deserves credit for the result.
This happened, and it matters.

From “If left were right” world, a headline:
“CURRENT DEM PREZ DOESN’T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AS PRIOR DEM PREZ.”
Props to Obama for giving an order Clinton couldn’t be bothered to give.
But ‘risk’? The 40 good American men and/or women in those two helicopters took the risk. The intelligence community that continued to pursue this while Obama and Holder were threatening to prosecute them and turning loose their captures through sheer judicial incompetence took the risk.
Had this gone sour we either never would have heard of it or Obama wouldn’t be anywhere near it.
And some politicizing is more disgusting than others.
Where’s ponce?
Waiting for instructions?
Even though it wasn’t a physical risk, it was a considerable political one, and I give him props. He handled this better than he handled the Somali pirates.
