First of all, it is below 50 degrees this evening.
Secondly, for a while there was water coming out of the sky. Not from the tap in the kitchen; not out of Arrowhead bottles. Not the water in the pool. Just falling out of the sky, with no reason or rhyme to it.
Not from the aquaduct. Not in the L.A. River. Not even coming out of a sprinkler to water the landscaping in the development, though presumably whoever did this got the idea from rainbirds.
But I swear—it was falling out of the sky, right onto people’s cars and roofs. Are rooftops waterproof? I hope so.
They should make a reality show out of this—people trying to drive to work and stuff, with moisture in the air; apparently, it gets onto the freeways, too, which makes driving quite hazardous.
Can’t someone put a stop to this? Can we perform some sort of dance that will stave off this water-in-the-sky problem?
