Concealed-Carry in California?

Yeah: it’s only a plus to create a statewide system if the system is as liberal as it is in some of the agricultural counties in the Central and San Joaquin Valleys; otherwise, it could go the other way—the way of Los Angeles. The way of driving even more firearms-related businesses out of the state, even as the industry grows, nationwide.

The way of allowing film industries to skirt regulations when the need firearms for film shoots, but not according four-color printed magazines the same courtesy when they need a gun for testing or for a photo shoot.

Seems that the Great One(tm) is quietly reversing the Bush-era policy of allowing pilots to have a firearm in the cockpit (after years of Satan’s little helpers* making it almost impossible to qualify). Voters will get a great lesson of how much harm can be done in four years with this administration. And how long it can take to fix things once that has changed.

Seems to me that a police firing range could take delivery of new models from manufacturers and journalists could view/photograph/test them there. I would bet that a few would even be returned to the manufacturer. . . They couldn’t all walk away! Nancy P is now trying to save the newspapers, so maybe she will come on board to prevent the extinction of California gun mags. Ask her. And don’t forget to tell her how lovely she is looking these days.

Two late; one gun-oriented publishing house will be landing in the corn fields of your fair state soon.

Two more much smaller ones will be left in CA: one in Orange County, and one in San Diego County. But none in L.A., where even ammunition has to be registered these days.
