Joy: “Did it say that on the credits?”
A the H: “I didn’t wait for ’em. I’d know Maurice LaMarche’s Shatner anywhere.”
Joy: “I thought that was Bill doing it.”
A the H: “He’s a big liberal; he never would.”
Joy: “No. I meant Bill Whittle, not Bill Shatner. The tone wasn’t perfect, but the phrasing and pausing were spot-on—exaggerated to just the right degree for comic effect. It was lovely.”
A the H: “Oh, yeah: he knows what he’s doing. He actually has a You Tube video on how to talk like William Shatner.”
