Henneberger is mad at David Letterman, and wants him to apologize to Governor Palin in person.
I’d rather that he apologize directly to her daughters, via the magic of television, on the air; Mrs. Palin’s pretty tough. She can take it. Willow, who was associated with Elliott Spitzer (and therefore called a prostitute), and Bristol, who was called a slut (with a joke about her having sex at halftime at Yankee Stadium) were brought into a political fight that they never signed up for. (Or maybe it was just Bristol: Letterman still hasn’t explained how he got the two girls mixed up, but he waxes indignant about the idea that he would make sexual jokes about a 14-year old; apparently his bluster is supposed to stand in for an actual explanation, or a real apology.)

Um. Maybe Ms. Henneberger should set an example, by apologizing to Tommy Christopher for firing him after he criticized that misogynistic/racist Playboy article about “hate-fucking” prominent women who dared to associate with center-right media or causes.
Henneberger wants her psuedo-feminist street-cred back. Good luck, Cookie.
