If the joke rests on the fact the the woman holding office (or aspiring to same) is a woman, it’s probably sexist. If it rests on the black guy being black, see above.
If it rests on the straight guy being gay, you’re on thin ice. If it’s about the gay guy being gay, you’re probably over the line‐unless you’re doing the double-irony thing wherein you’re sort of pretending to engage in locker-room talk, but you’re just making fun of locker-room talk, and you want to see who gets caught in the hall of mirrors. NTTAWWT. But you have to know what you’re doing.
The President is not funny because he’s black. The President is funny because he’s a stammering moron who doesn’t know what the word “cinco” means, thinks there are 57 states, and imagines that Vienna has its own language.
Why, in short, does this woman still have her fucking job? WTF?
