I dunno: looks like he handled this better than a lot of politicians: Ted Kennedy, Bill Clinton, John Edwards, Newt Gingrich, John F. Kennedy.
And it’s still a live women, rather than a boy or a dead woman.
He’ll be back. Perhaps not as a Presidential candidate, but he’ll be back.
And the fact that 10% of the time, depriving politicians of their privacy yields a real scandal doesn’t justify stripping that privacy away: this is still none of our business.
His political enemies might have found something in that garbage heap, but they are still covered in eggshells, furry bits of old chicken noodle soup, and coffee grounds. Congratulations, boys: well done. Another talented guy hounded out of public life, or as close to it as you could get.
