I didn’t mind the pricey tennis shoes, and I thought she looked fine when she went out for her Grand Canyon hike. And the people doing Michelle Obama’s hair and makeup are just fine: for instance, those false eyelashes look good on her, and I’m no fan of those things, in general (I’ve never put them on; it sounds like a pain).
But whoever is in charge of the First Lady’s wardrobe really ought to step back.
