This Trans-Atlantic phenomenon reminds me of the American treatment of the ACORN scandals: a lot of the legacy media would prefer to focus on matters that have nothing to do with the contents of the Giles-O’Keefe videos—or the Hadley climate center emails, for that matter. Instead, they would like to discuss what the people who are on the hot seat have to say about the scandal. Hm. They deny it! Surely, that is very significant. Also, perhaps there’s some impropriety in how the information came to light; let’s write about that.
The actual information itself? Well, that might be interesting, but there isn’t any more room for it in this blogpo
