. . . has been on record most of the year: ObamaCare, she maintains, will undergo reconciliation. And it will die there not over the public option, but over the Federal funding of abortion.

The real problem they will have is that laws depend on the fact that the large majority follow them of their own free will. The laws against murder, for instance, work because few of us want to murder. There are areas where that is not such a large majority, though, and those areas are virtually unlivable, see sections of Washington, DC, Detroit and Los Angeles, among others. Hell, there are neighborhoods in Dallas I don’t go, even armed.

I think this crowd is biting off far more than they can chew. How many people refusing to buy their shyster version of mandated health insurance before the system falls apart? How many Docs telling the government, sorry, slave days are over, before it grinds to a halt. Along with people not buying those stupid curly-cue light bulbs and turning their thermostats to wherever they please. What is Reid and Pelosi going to do? Hell, they are letting criminals out of prison now because they can’t afford to keep ’em locked up.

No, Congress has tried silly things before, few alive remember Prohibition. Most cities had more Speakeasies after Prohibition took effect than bars and taverns before Prohibition.

I’m kind of looking forward to the Doceasies, the Lightbulbeasies, the real thermosteasies, the hidden generators for the Electriceasies, the Gasolineeasies, etc. And nobody running these things paying taxes to the effing Democrats in Washington or the State Capitols.

Get you a short skirt and a hip flask and practice your Charleston because we are going to have some fun!
