Yeah, yeah: we were late; it opened in March. But we took our pocket watches with us, so it was okay.
It wasn’t an Alice for purists: they used Wonderland as the main framework, looting Through the Looking Glass only fairly lightly. This means, of course, that they could make a whole new movie out of Looking Glass. And that is the one that will probably trigger my fangirl mode and make me more interested in some fidelity to the story.
So, they’ll have to be more careful next time in order to keep me on board—but I did love this movie.
