Okay, Campers.

I have to get up early tomorrow morning so I can drive to Bakersfield tomorrow after work—or was it Fresno? are they really different towns?—so I shan’t be saying too much this evening.

Except: politics is grim. Let’s not make it serious.

Peace out.

Dude, you insult me. Of course they are separate. Fresno is actually a city. Bakerspatch is, well, West Oklahoma. I wouldn’t admit to being from there.

Fresno……..It’s more than just Raisins!!!!!!!!!!
The Oklahoma West in Bakersfield is actually Oildale.
I did a stretch in the Valley at NAS Lemoore in the 80s.
Kind of miss the place every now and then.
BTW, I was working for a railroad contractor and three years ago I got to go back an work Fresno and Bakersfield. There is no open ground from Visalia to Fresno. I still remember the orchards and vinyards and now it’s mostly houses. Bummer

The post made me think of that Jeff Dunham and Peanut skit about Santa Ana. LOL!

Are Santa Ana and Orange different cities, too?
