Maybe I wasn’t quite understanding the gravity of the economic situation. It turns out that if the Spendulus Plan doesn’t pass, the entire country will explode. Followed by the solar system, and then the Milky Way. Finally, the Universe itself will erupt into a fiery ball of ex-universe.
