Jon Stewart: MSNBC vs. Fox

And it is on, Baby:

Via AllahP at Hot Air, who remarks:

The knock on Colmes made me wince, not because it’s unfair but because it isn’t. Right or wrong, our favorite liberal [Kirsten Powers] is a dignified presence who’s suddenly contending for a job that is, per Stewart’s critique, inherently undignified. Maybe she’d change the dynamic, but the more centrist one is, the more unlikely that would seem.

Be an attack dog and the left will love you; be fair and they’ll deride you as a stooge and a scarecrow for the conservative alpha male while the right forever grumbles that you’re still spouting too many talking points. It may be a lucrative job, but is it a good one? Word on the street is that some Foxies read this site; if so, how about putting her where she really belongs, on the “Special Report” panel with Krauthammer and Barnes? There are only two women there now, and based on the polls, it’s a safe bet she’d do as much for ratings as Whatshername and Whosthatagain.

It’s hard to make a recommendation for a job for someone to just yell at people, when I can’t stand to watch the shows that are just people yelling. And what, BTW, does AllahP have against Mara Liasson? I kind of like her.
